Marley's Bud is a Dutch-bred hybrid of the Indica variety that originated in the Netherlands. It was developed in honor of the late, great Bob Marley and won the Dutch High Life Cup in 1999. These dense, chunky buds offer a sweet, floral aroma with undertones of Afghan hash. Some examples of Jamaican "collie" (a slang term used by Jamaicans for cannabis or "ganja") were crossed with a Maple Leaf Indica relative, and the resulting hybrid was named Marley's Bud. By feminizing this strain, we have achieved great uniformity, allowing for successful growth using the S.O.G or S.C.R.O.G technique. Indoor and outdoor growers can expect flowering between 60 and 65 days.

The strain is composed of 40% sativa and 60% indica. The THC content is 19-23%. The genetics are Jamaican x Afghan. The aroma is fruity with a sweet, pungent bite and a sweet yet slightly sour taste. The effects are a strong sativa high with a balanced body stone that creates a mellow mood.
