Clonex Gel for cloning cuttings 50 ml Growth Technology

Clonex Growth Technology is a special gel for cloning cuttings. Clonex provides the highest level of rooting, making it popular among professionals and hobbyists around the world. This gel is suitable for rooting many plants, including conifers, magnolias, camellias, varietal hibiscus, bougainvillea, citrus and others.

Due to its thick texture, Clonex Gel reliably wraps the cut site, protecting it from infections. The hormones in the gel stimulate the growth of root cells, and vitamins and minerals contribute to the active development of young roots. Clonex is much more convenient to use than powders or liquids, as it cannot be spilled or scattered. The gel stays well on the cutting throughout the entire rooting period. One milliliter of the gel is enough to root about 30 cuttings with a trunk diameter of 0.3-0.5 cm.

The process of using Clonex is very simple: choose a suitable cutting, remove the lower leaves, make an oblique cut with a sharp knife or blade just below the knot, immerse it in the gel by 15 mm and plant it in prepared soil. Then press the soil tightly around the cutting to avoid air gaps and place the plant in a greenhouse with a lid.

Optimal conditions such as light bottom heating and high humidity ensure 100% success. For petunias, brugmansia, Iochroma and other delicate cuttings, it is recommended to test the gel on 1-2 cuttings. In case of burns, dilute the gel with boiled water 1:1.

Perlite, vermiculite, peat mixtures or peat tablets can be used as a substrate. The most active root formation occurs during the growing season (spring - summer). For best results, it is recommended to use Clonex Gel together with Formulex fertilizer.
